Country Estate House (Grade II)

A dramatic oak frame extension has been added to this early 19th century country house, giving scope for a spacious kitchen and dining area.

This was a project where we were onboard from the outset, working collaboratively as part of the architectural process to ensure the new building worked for our clients from the inside-out. Made from the estate’s fallen oak, the freestanding dining table is strongly influenced in its design by the oak frame architecture of the building.

Where once the original kitchen stood within the property, the area has been given over to an entrance, boot room space in which we have crafted a further cabinet from the fallen oak.
